Lighthouse Learning Provision — Belong, Grow, Achieve, Thrive

Who we support

Personalised support for learners who need a different route to progress

Lighthouse supports learners who may not be thriving in conventional classroom settings, or who require a smaller, more flexible and relationship-focused pathway.

SEMH needs

Support where confidence, emotional regulation or relationships affect learning.

Autism and neurodiversity

Predictable, respectful support that considers communication, sensory need, routine and individual strengths.

ADHD and impulsivity

Practical, movement-rich learning with clear boundaries, pace, purpose and trusted adult support.

PDA profiles

Low-arousal approaches, choice, collaboration and thoughtful demand management.

Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance

Gradual engagement, trusted relationships, safety planning and confidence-building routines.

Risk of exclusion or permanent exclusion

Relational intervention that aims to reduce crisis, rebuild trust and re-establish educational engagement.

Trauma and disrupted education

Emotionally safe practice, co-regulation and achievable experiences of success.

EHCP and SEND support

Targets may align with EHCP outcomes, SEND support plans, school priorities and commissioner expectations.

Every placement is considered individually. Lighthouse will only accept a placement where the learner's needs can be met safely, purposefully and within agreed staffing, risk and commissioning arrangements.
